#KAHRAMAA represented by the #District_Cooling Services Department, has visited the #District_Cooling Station of Doha Exhibition and Convention Center to achieve the objectives of monitoring and regulation in #Qatar.
#District_Cooling capacity of the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center is 7,500 tons and a future capacity of 12,500 tons.
Qatar Financial Center (QFC), National Tourism Council (NTC) and the Doha Convention and Exhibition Center (DECC) are sharing the mutual aim of developing the business tourism industry and enhancing the business events in the State of Qatar. As a result QFC announced the designation of DECC as an Approved Building to make it the “one stop shop” for the business events industry in Qatar.
This step comes to show QFC’s support to NTC’s plans of developing an extensive framework for the continued growth of Qatar’s tourism industry and realising its mandate within the Qatar National Tourism Sector Strategy 2030.
Furthermore, the QFC will facilitate and enhance services provided to companies wishing to build on its platform, including simplifying the process for incorporation and offering post licensing support.
On occasion of UFI’s Global Exhibitions Day, representatives from Qatar’s National Tourism Council & the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center were brought together to discuss the latest industry trends and make a group photo of the participants carrying the official GED19 logo which will be used to show the support of both entities to this important international initiative.

Doha, Qatar – The Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) celebrated the Family Day in Qatar which occurs on April 15th every year, where the center’s facades were illuminated in green to highlight the importance of the family and its role in community building.
The idea of dedicating a family day in the State of Qatar was created at the invitation of Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser, President of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, to celebrate the Family Day, a pioneering idea approved by the Council of Ministers in 2011.
